Come and join us! There is always room for new singers for each voice section (SATB). An ability to sight-read music is desirable but not essential. Auditions are not required. We encourage interested singers to come along to a rehearsal or two to see how you like it.
The Essendon Choral Society is run by volunteers who are passionate about music, however, running a choir comes with considerable costs. Membership fees are needed to cover requirements such as rehearsal and performance venue hire, leadership from professional musicians and sheet music.
The fees for the 2025 membership year are:
Full Membership $400
Concession Membership $200
Fees can also be paid quarterly, based on the school terms.
